Frequently asked questions and answers (Anchormatic windlass)
We do not recommend boats weighing over 15 tons to use the winch. Exceptions are made for "lunch anchoring" or mooring to a buoy.
This is because, Anchormatic's anchor reels and breaking reels are adapted for our belts. Other anchor reels adapted for chain and lead line can damage the anchor chain and affect the pulling power of the winch in a negative way. We at Anchormatic cannot guarantee that the winch will work optimally if our anchor reels are not used.
The anchor rollers fit most of the different types of anchors. However, we would recommend the "Delta" and "Bruce" models.

No. Anchormatic's band anchor winch must have a specially adapted anchor strap to get optimal function/strength. The straps we sell are specially adapted for anchormatic games. We also sell spare parts.
